The last couple weeks of our summer...

The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy but we did manage to get out and do a couple of fun things :) One day a week or two ago it was only in the upper 80's or low 90's so we took fast advantage of that and went to the zoo!! We had a great time with our friends and enjoyed seeing the animals. Ava's favorite part BY FAR is the goats!! I wish I had gotten a pic or video of her kissing and hugging the goats! It was the sweetest thing ever. Maybe she is a farm girl at heart? hehe 

 Here is a cute video of her feeding the goats :) She gets SO excited! She jumps up and down and squeals, it's too cute. At the end you can see how she pretty much puts her whole hand in the goats mouth!! She just loves animals so much! (and mommy is very thankful they have hand sanitizer by the goats lol) 

 One evening last week we made a trip to Settler's park with Daddy. We weren't really sure if she would like it or not but much to our surprise she LOVED it. She doesn't like waterfalls or fountains in the pool so I kind of thought these would be the same to her, but she thought it was so much fun! And thankfully we did not catch any diseases...I found out a couple days later there had been an outbreak of crypto in the Boise/Meridian public pools! Yuck! We missed that one, for now thankfully!

She kept trying to drink these ones, it was hilarious! We had to keep telling her
"no drinking, just run" haha it was too funny!

Run Ava Run!!

We have had such a great summer and can't believe we are in the middle of Aug already! I feel like it should still be July!! The fair opens this weekend, and we can't wait to take Ava!!--especially to the petting zoo! haha--
