Almost August!

This summer seems to be moving so fast this year! Hard to believe it will be August next week. All spring and summer we have been talking about going to Redfish and taking swimming lessons and here we past both of those things!

We had 2 weeks of swimming lessons and they were so much fun! I was so amazed at how Ava took to the water and just loved it, she defiantly gets that from her daddy and not me! She loved going under water and jumping in and just over all playing in the water. The timing could not have been any better...the first week the temps were about 100-109! So it was a great week to spend in the water!

Here is the picture Ava's teacher took with her underwater camera. It warms my heart so much that she is smiling! She is just totally relaxed and in love with the water. I hope we can help her to always feel safe and have fun in the water!

And here she is swimming underwater from her teacher to mommy :) She said a relaxed baby can easily hold their breath underwater for 30 seconds! Ava has only done about 10 at the most. 

We also had a fantastic time at Redfish Lake for the Sayer family annual reunion! I am a loser mom and did not take a single picture the whole weekend. :/ I guess you can say we were having too much fun to take pictures :) If you follow us on facebook though, my cousins got some very pic's of Ava for us. We did come home very very late Saturday night instead of coming home Sunday morning. Miss Ava does not sleep well away from home and Jon had 2 tough weeks at work and was already lacking sleep so we decided sleep was very important for all of us before the week started. We were bummed to miss the extra time with family but were very thankful for the sleep.

We have been so blessed this summer and God just continues to bless us every day! My pregnancy is going very well (oh for those of you who had not heard, we are expecting baby #2 :) Baby is due the end of Jan/beginning of Feb). I have not been sick but just a few days and am SO SO SO beyond words thankful for that! It is hard enough chasing around a toddler and I'm very thankful to not be running between her and the bathroom. We are 13 weeks along now, so 1st trimester is officially over and my energy level is starting to come back! Yay! I'm starting to get very excited about finding out the gender in less than 2 months now! My belly has popped much too quickly with this baby! HA! But it does make it feel more real :)
