First (real) trip to the zoo!

Yesterday we took advantage of the beautiful weather and met a couple of our friends at the zoo! I'm so glad we did since today it snowed and has been freezing cold!!

Here she is before we went in :) She looked so cute in her headband...too bad it didn't last! haha

Here we are getting ready to start cruising... she was waving and so excited! Glad I caught her action shot! ;)

Here they are at the lions. Not sure if they actually saw the lions or not. They were more interested in looking at each other at this point! haha Ava is doing her new trick...showing her hair. It's not consistent yet, but if you ask her where her hair is she will show you! She's so smart!! (obviously as 1st time parents we don't know any different and think she is the smartest kid to have ever been born! lol)

 Here are the kids outside the penguin exhibit! By far the best one there for little ones :) It's a great exhibit that allows you to see them from on top of the water and underneath. And the penguins were so great swimming all over and diving down right in front of the class. It was so great!

Not sure what this face is! She was so serious the whole time. --I know not out of the norm for Miss Ava-- I was trying to get her to smile but this was all I could get.

Here we are at the goats now. You can buy food from a candy dispenser for a quarter and feed them (while I did not let Ava feed them...because she would have just eaten it herself lol) she did get to wheel up close to feel them! :) And no surprise she loved them! She loves animals SOOOO much!! I wish we would have gone to the goats first. She was tired by this time and wasn't able to enjoy them as much as I know she would at her best moment. (not sure who the little girl is but Ava sure loved watching her!)

Overall a great trip to the zoo! :) This was not her 1st trip however our last one was on Halloween for Boo at the Zoo (which we did not enjoy much :/) so I would say this is her 1st real trip to the zoo. And it was so much fun with our friends!! :)
