The beginning of a blog...

Well we are officially joining the blogging world. I'm hoping this will help to keep our family updated better! :) (and friends too...of course!)

Here is Miss Ava Joy... 9 months old. She just looked so cute all dressed up for church that we just had to snap a quick picture (although this did make us a few minutes late!!) lol

Here is our current news! Ava Joy is 9.5 months old (where has the time gone?!) and is cruising all over the place!! She LOVES her new world of crawling and is very adventurous in her new found talent. She is starting to let go of furniture and discover how to balance, so I have a feeling it won't be long before she is taking steps. But we will see what she decides. We are so proud of her though, and love watching her discover the world around her.

Jon is still loving his new job! Never a dull moment that's for sure. He is constantly busy, which is such a great change from his old job. He is also a deacon at our church now! I'm so proud of the man he is!

As for me, I'm just loving mommy life! It's always an adventure, that's for sure. But I wouldn't trade it for anything!! I can't imagine missing a moment of her life.

I'm hoping I can keep up with this blogging thing and have it be a better way for me to keep family up-to-date. I'm just so terrible about emailing updates. :/
